Off to Texas

I'm off to Texas first thing Friday morning as part of a delegation to study Texas' public/private transportation initiatives (e.g. toll roads). 

Texas has implemented some state-of-the-art transportation initiatives. Utah officials hope to learn more about these initiatives as they plan for the Transportation Summit.  (Lt. Gov. News Releases)

Should be an informative trip.

Just remember - if left unchecked tollways become the "affordable" way to build roads and before you know it the tollway authority is granted access to build all new roads. And where do gas tax revenues go, hmmm...
