Today (Thursday) was the first day of summer break. Tonight was the first visit to the emergency room of the summer. And yes, that's a smile on his face as he shows off to his friends. The pain kicked in 10 minutes later. It looked and felt much worse than it was. Of course, the ER doc remembered him from a couple of months ago (the day I like to refer to as our double ER Saturday -- yes, 2 trips to the doc in 1 day for 2 different accidents). Brandon seems to prefer having these types of accidents after office hours, on weekend, or on holidays. Of course, we almost ended up there on Monday (Memorial Day) when he rolled his brother's ATV.
